Tools

  • Metric Socket / Wrench Set
  • Floor Jack / Jack Stands

Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle on jack stands.
  2. Removing the rear wheels makes the job a bit easier but is not required.
  3. Remove the two bolts/nuts on either end of the sway bar that attach the sway bar to the drop links.Rear Sway Bar Removal and Installation
  4. Remove the bolts (4 - 2 on each side) that hold the sway bar to the torque tube carrier and remove the sway bar from the vehicle.Rear Sway Bar Removal and Installation
  5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
